Defense of the Ancients (DotA for short) is a custom map (map-made) for a computer game made by Blizzard titled Warcraft III: Frozen Throne, made under the map "Aeon of Strife" from other Blizzard game, StarCraft. The main objective of this game is to destroy the "Ancient" enemy, a heavily guarded structures at the lower left corner or upper right (the one for his own side and the other for the enemy). Both sides of the fight is The Sentinel (peacekeepers) and The Scourge (destroyer forces). The Sentinel guard called Ancient Tree of the World (world tree) in the lower left corner, while keeping the Ancient Scourge called The Frozen Throne (frozen throne) in the upper right corner.
